In recent years, our country has the evaporative condenser are applied to all kinds of refrigeration system, including cold storage, central air conditioning, industrial refrigeration units, ammonia refrigeration system, etc. And early in the 1970 s, developed countries began to use an evaporative condenser instead of water cooled condenser. Relative to the traditional way of condenser, the evaporative condenser has the following advantages: one, the energy conservation as air-cooled condenser cooling capacity is limited by environmental dry bulb temperature, wet bulb temperature and the evaporative condenser is limited by the environment, and the wet bulb temperature 8 ~ 14 ℃ lower than the general dry bulb temperature, combined with upper fan equipment negative pressure caused by the environment, so compared with air cooling condenser, evaporative condenser condensation temperature is low. And condensing temperature rise per 1 ℃, the refrigerating capacity of the unit power consumption will increase by 3% ~ 3%, so the total power consumption of evaporative condenser will be significantly reduced, energy saving effect is obvious. In the air conditioning refrigeration system relative to other condenser can be energy-saving 20% ~ 40%. Second, the water evaporative condenser make full use of the latent heat of vaporization of water, the general water cooled condenser cooling water every 1 kg can take 16.75 ~ 25.12 KJ heat, and 1 kg of water evaporation at room temperature can take away heat about 2428 KJ, and theory of evaporative condenser water consumption is only 1% of the water cooled condenser, considering the spatter loss, pollution in water and other factors, the actual water consumption is about 5% ~ 10% of water cooled. Evaporative condenser greatly reduce the loss of water, the serious shortage of water resources in China's northern region has important significance. Three, compact structure Because do not need to set the cooling tower, so the whole device has the advantages of compact structure, small volume, covers an area of less, evaporative condenser through the condenser coil and cooling tower into one saves valuable space, and there is no need to cooling tower/condenser system that need larger water pump and pipeline. Evaporative condenser requires only about 50% of the same specifications of the air-cooled condenser of windward area. Four, save investment cost the evaporative condenser cooling towers and condenser, circulating tank, circulating pumps and pipes integrated as a whole, this reduces the cooling tower, circulating pumps and pipes, such as equipment, also reduce the cooling towers/condenser processing and the cost of the installation of a single element in the system. Because of the evaporative condenser efficiently using evaporative cooling heat transfer method, so can effectively reduce the heat transfer area, the number of the fan and fan motor power consumption. Five, polluting the environment using a lot of chemical plant or spray condenser shell and tube type, in the summer because of the condensing pressure is too high, often using step-down "empty", but each time the release isn't non-condensable gas, which contains a large amount of ammonia, according to the relevant departments of the sampling analysis, sometimes as high as 90%, not only ammonia loss serious, also cause environmental pollution. But there is no this kind of phenomenon after using evaporative condenser.
